The Golden Hex story began with a California family's passion for honey. What started as sharing their love with friends and family soon blossomed into a thriving business, crafting not just the finest raw honey but also pollen, propolis, beeswax candies, natural cosmetics, and soaps.
Upon relocating to North Carolina, we decided to share our love for another kind of sweetness – the vibrant flavors of Europe and the Mediterranean. Our first Cary store, located near Thomas Bond Park, quickly became a haven for those seeking authentic groceries, specialty items, and of course, our beloved North Carolina honey.

We're thrilled to announce that Golden Hex has expanded its wings and relocated to a new, spacious building at the intersection of 1200 NW Maynard Rd and High House Rd. This move allows us to better serve the Triangle community and offer an even wider selection of European and Mediterranean delights. Our expanded deli section features an impressive selection of cold meats, cheeses, fish, and even red and black caviar. Grab a hot meal or a quick bite from our Hot & Cold Bar. Savor the fresh-baked goodness of our bakery, featuring delectable treats like pierogies, pelmeni, vareniki, cakes, and traditional sweets like halva, marshmallow (zefir), and pastille.
